Fort Walton Eats: Lunch Edition

Looking for lunch recommendations that offer quick service and great food? Check out some of my favorite lunch spots in Fort Walton Beach, FL.

Parson's Son BBQ - I am obsessed with BBQ. It must be the southern girl in me. Here are Parson's Son BBQ, you will not be disappointed. There BBQ is top notch. I would say the best in the area bar none. They offer pulled pork, beef, and chicken as well as whole chickens and baby back ribs. My favorite item to order is the pulled pork tacos. Check them out on a Thursday when they also offer their homemade mac and cheese. http://perfectbuttsbbq.com/

Slick Mick's - If you want an authentic philly cheese steak then check out this place. They offer a little bit of everything and are also known for their deli sandwiches and strombolis and pizza. If you are really hungry, try the Dagwood. It's your choice of meat topped with french fries, cole slaw, and much more. The food and service it always top notch. And don't forget about the Buffalo Chips. Get an order just to share. http://slickmicksfwb.com/

Spork - If you are looking for somewhere that offers sandwiches, salads, and soups for a great price then check this place out. Order the grilled cheese with tomato bisque to warm you up or the Thor sandwich (not on the menu) if you are really hungry. This is the perfect stop for those quick lunches or late afternoon snack. http://sporkeatery.com/

Thai House - There are many Thai restaurants in and around Fort Walton but Thai House is definitely my favorite. Located in an actual house on a side street, Thai House offers authentic Thai cuisine in a small town that rivals most in larger cities. Your food always comes out piping hot and the service is impeccable. My favorites on the menu are the spring rolls and pad thai. They are located at 815 Pinedale Road just off of Racetrack Road.
